Desexing
Desexing is a very routine surgery that is preformed every day. It is an important procedure in our pet community as it prevents unwanted pregnancies and other health consequences. All of our vets and nurses are very experienced and comfortable with completing procedure.

TelePet Consults
We understand that for some pets coming into the clinic is difficult. For selected conditions, we are happy to chat and advise you over the phone. Following the discussion, we will let you know if we need to see your pet in the clinic for hands on care or whether treatment can be dispensed through the telepet consult only.
-
Major Surgery

Puppy Preschool
Puppy preschool is run in clinic by a trained professional and helps to create a positive association with your Vet. It is available for puppies aged 8-16 weeks. This is the most important time in shaping the dog that he or she will become. It is a great window for socialisation, early training and forming a close bond with your puppy. Starting out on the right paw, and getting the right advice from the start will make things a lot easier for you.

When your pet can’t go to the groomers or might need a little extra assistance in grooming themselves, we are here to help. Our nurse grooming services are available for nail clipping, clipping matted fur and cat lion clip.

Euthanasia
Progressive Vet Care offers a euthanasia service that ensures you and your pet will be shown compassion and understanding during this difficult time. We offer the option for the appointment to be made in clinic or at your home.

Microchipping
A microchip is a permanent method of electronic identification. The microchip number is recorded on a database registry with details about the animal and owner. Should your pet stray or become lost, vets, animal shelters and local councils can scan your pet for a microchip and contact you via the database.
